The KOBRA 310 TS-AF-CC4 is a touch screen 3.9x40mm Cross Cut Auto Feed Shredder (also referred as the KOBRA 310 TS-AF) with a new larger bin. This is a new and innovative machine that can either shred up to 31 sheets of paper per pass (up to A3 in size) through the entry throat and/or single sheets through a special automatic feeder that holds up to 170 sheets. One batch of 170 sheets will take 10 minutes through the auto-feeder. The machine is designed to be completely Jam Free and can be supplied with an optional lockable cover to prevent anyone being able to tamper with the documents during the shredding process. Simply insert the documents to shred into the feeder and the KOBRA 310 TS-AF-CC4 Touch Screen Auto Feed will automatically destroy each document . Equipped with ENERGY SMART power saving system the KOBRA 310 TS-AF-CC4 goes into power saving stand-by mode after just 8 seconds and switches off automatically after 4 hours of non operation. For traditional shredding the KOBRA 310 TS-AF-CC4 will shred up 31 sheets per pass to Security Level P-4. CD's/DVD's and Credit Cards are also shredded through a dedicated second set of cutting knives.
The KOBRA 310 TS-AF-CC4 Auto Feed model is supplied with touch screen technology where all functions are activated by simply touching the required command on the screen. The touch screen also shows the current status of the machine including if it is in standby mode. The model also features 2 separate sets of cutting blades and collection bags; one for paper and one for CD's/DVD's and credit cards. For the shredding of transparent materials like acetate and microform simply keep your finger on the "Forward" control for 5 seconds and the machine will run for 30 seconds. Other features include a warning light when the cutting knives need to be oiled, unless an Auto-Oiler is bought separately, in which case a warning light is displayed when it needs refilling. A Shred Guard Metal Detection System which prevents any possible metal damage to the cutting system can also be purchased separately.
The KOBRA 310 TS-AF-CC4 shredder has 24 hour continuous duty motors, an automatic Start/Stop function, a stand-by function which cuts all power to the unit, a heavy duty chain drive with steel gears and are 100% jam proof. This version will also automatically stop when the collection bag is full or the door is opened and will display a light to show which has occurred. The cabinet is also mounted on casters for ease of movement around the office.
N.B. Please note that the KOBRA 310 TS-AF CC-4 auto feeder is not designed to accept staples and paperclips, but small clips and staples can be shredded in the manual feed slot. If staples and paperclips are fed into the auto feeder, or if any mechanical damage is caused by constant overloading of equipment, lack of oil (if required), or units are not maintained in accordance with the operating instructions, any damage will not be covered under warranty.
