The end-result of this philosophy is the X-Securia 800XC, the first in a stylish new line of Swordfish shredders.
The flowing curves of this machine, finished in neutral pale ivory with contrasting semi-mat and glossy panels, all come together to show that this is no mere appliance – it is a beautiful, yet very functional machine, that will be a credit to your home.
Of course, while great design is essential, function must also be perfect. As the X-Securia 800XC comes from Swordfish – the people who really understand shredders – you can be sure that this machine is as efficient as it is elegant.
This machine with happily shred up to 8 sheets of 80gsm paper – the type of paper most widely used in the UK – with ease. What’s more, it will cut each sheet into well over three hundred individual, unreadable pieces. Shredded paper is stored in a pull-out bin which is not only convenient; it helps to prevent loose shredding spilling onto your carpet when it is being emptied.
As you would expect from Swordfish, the X-Securia 800XC meets all relevant European safety and environmental standards, the mechanism is double-insulated and the casing is constructed from flameproof, recyclable, ABS plastic. So you can be confident that it is a quality product capable of giving years of service.
