The KOBRA 410 TS S5 is a 5.8mm Strip Cut shredder. It is a touch screen Large Office or Departmental Shredder and is supplied with a new design of carbon hardened cutting knives, which allow for up to 40% more efficiency in shredding capacity. The model also features the most advanced fully integrated touch screen technology system, where all functions are activated by simply touching the required command on the screen. It can shred up to 72 sheets of 70gm A4, A3 or even Computer Width paper documents with ease through the 410mm wide throat into 5.8mm strip cut pieces. The KOBRA 410 TS S5 shredder has 24 hour continuous duty motors, a heavy duty chain drive with steel gears and are 100% jam proof.
This fully featured High Capacity KOBRA 410 TS S5 shredder offers Touch Screen technology, where all functions are activated by simply touching the required command on the screen. The screen also shows the current status of the machine, including if it is in standby mode. The model also features 2 separate sets of cutting blades and collection bags; one for paper and one for CD's/DVD's and credit cards, all of which are shredded to cross-cut pieces (assuming optional CD Cutting throat is purchased). For the shredding of transparent materials like acetate and microform simply keep your finger on the "Forward" control for 5 seconds and the machine will run for 30 seconds. Other features include an Electronic Power Control system which indicates the optimum number of sheets that can be shredded per pass without the machine jamming.
An ENERGY SMART® power saving system switches the machine into power saving stand-by mode after just 8 seconds and switches off automatically after 4 hours of non-operation. All models feature an automatic reverse in case of a paper jam and carbon hardened cutting knives which are unaffected by staples and metal clips. The new high precision design of the cutting knives allows for high shred loads with low power consumption.
