The KOBRA 410 TS HS CDHS + Kobra 410 TS HS-6 CDHS are very special High Security Shredders specifically designed for shredding Top Secret Crypto Paper Documents plus Optical Media CDs/DVDs & Blu-Ray Discs, for all Military Bodies, Government Agencies or Security Commercial Organisations. The KOBRA 410 TS HS CDHS (Paper Security Level P-6) and KOBRA 410 TS HS-6 (Paper Security Level P-7) have a separate high security Media cutting entrance which produces 2 x 2mm pieces which meet the following DIN Standards , O-6, T-6, E-3 and have been given approval by the UK Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (NPSA), by meeting the NPSA Standard – Secure Destruction of Sensitive Items, and carry the NPSA Trademark.

The 410 TS HS can shred up to 3000 pieces of Optical Media per hour and will turn a single sheet of paper into 10-15,000 individual pieces so the tiny size of the shreds doesn't allow any possibility of retrieving or reading any information left on the small optical media particles even through the use of specific and dedicated electronic equipment.

These fully featured 410 TS Touch Screen HS CDHS + HS-6 CDHS Shredders offer Touch Screen technology where all functions are activated by simply touching the required command on the screen. The screen also shows the current status of the machine including if it is in standby mode. For the shredding of transparent materials like acetate and microform simply keep your finger on the "Forward" control for 5 seconds and the machine will run for 30 seconds. Other features include and Electronic Power Control System which indicates the optimum number of sheets that can be shredded per pass without the machine jamming. An ENERGY SMART® power saving system switches the machine into power saving stand-by mode after just 8 seconds and switches off automatically after 4 hours of non-operation. The model also features an automatic reverse in case of a paper jam and the new high precision design of the cutting knives allows for high shred loads with low power consumption.

An Automatic Oiling System is supplied as standard with both these models which automatically lubricates cutting knives and a Shred Guard Metal Detection System that detects any type of metal that could damage the cutting system can be added as optional extras. Supplied with sturdy, large volume 205 litre steel, mobile waste cabinet equipped with a dedicated oil container holder. All Kobra shredders now also feature a lifetime warranty on the metal drive chain and feature an internal readable diagnosis system which records operating hours, number of jams and machine use.
