The KOBRA 310 TS HD Heavy Duty High Security Professional Shredders are 100% jam proof and perfect for all Centralised Destruction requirements having been designed with extra powerful 2.6kW motors and heavy duty chains with lifetime guarantee for 24 hour continuous use. All functions of the Kobra 310 TS HD HS and Kobra 310 TS HD HS-6 Shredders are controlled by a clever Touch Screen Control with LED indicators including an Electronic Power Control System which shows the operator the shredding load required to optimise shredding without jams. The 310 TS HD HS Shredders have a wide 310mm (A4 + A3) Entry Throat, and feature an automatic Start/Stop function, a stand-by mode which cuts all power to the unit after a short period of time to save energy, an automatic stop when the collection bag is full or the door is opened, and has 2 separate sets of cutting blades and 2 collection bags; one for paper and one for CDs/DVDs and Credit Cards so as to segregate paper and plastic for recycling. For the shredding of transparent materials like acetate and microform simply keep your finger on the “Forward” control for 5 seconds and the machine will run for 30 seconds. The extra large 150 litre cabinet is mounted on casters for mobility around the office.

All 310 TS HD Touch Screen machines feature a warning light when the cutting knives need to be oiled, unless an Auto-Oiler is bought separately (Cross Cut versions only), in which case a warning light is displayed when it needs refilling. The Cross Cut versions can also have a Shred Guard Metal Detection System fitted as an extra to prevent any damage to the cutting system. Equipped with an environmentally friendly Energy smart system™, the Kobra 310 TS HD Shredders go into standby mode after 8 seconds of not being used and is restarted by simply inserting material into the machine throat – no buttons to press. Also All Kobra TS models automatically disconnect from the mains power supply after being idle for 4 hours eliminating all power usage.
Kobra Shredders now also feature a lifetime warranty on the metal drive chain and feature an internal readable diagnostic system which records operating hours, number of jams and machine use. Please note that 2 High Security - Level 5 and 6 versions (310 TS HD HS and 310 TS HD HS-6) are also available for Government and Military type applications.
