The KOBRA 270 TS Touch Screen Auto Feed Shredders are innovative machines that can shred up to 6 sheets of paper per pass through the entry throat plus, at the same time, single sheets through a specially patented anti-jamming, automatic feeder that holds up to 170 sheets. Just 5 seconds to load 170 sheets of paper which will take 10 minutes to shred through the auto feeder. Simply ‘Load and Walk’ away while the machine processes your security waste. The machines are designed to be completely Jam Free and can be supplied with an optional lockable cover with an approved High Security Key Lock which prevents anyone being able to tamper with the documents during the shredding process which is especially recommended for High Security requirements.

The KOBRA 270 TS HS AF Auto Feed and 270 TS HS-6 AF Auto Feed High Security Shredders come with a 270mm, A4 wide entry throat and are designed specifically for high security requirements for all Commercial, Military and Government departments. The KOBRA 270 Touch Screen HS AF is approved to DIN 66399 levels P-6 and the HS-6 AF to the highest level P-7 for paper documents. Supplied with special cutting systems that can shred an A4 sheet of paper into 10,000 to 20,000 particles which become absolutely unreadable even using special electronic optical microscopes, the KOBRA 270 Touch Screen HS + HS-6 Auto Feed Shredders are used by most International Governments and Military Bodies including the UK Government, US Department of State, the CIA, the National Security Agency and by the members of the G8 Summits.

The KOBRA 270 TS HS Auto Feed Touch Screen Shredders are equipped with a host of advanced features unlike any other product range making these models superbly efficient and perfect for the Professional user. The 270 TS HS AF uses a fully integrated touch screen system with illuminated optical indicators where all of the shredder functions are activated by simply touching the required command on the screen. The 270 TS HS Touch Screen AF models also feature newly designed special blade edges made of caron hardened steel which makes the cutting knives 40% more efficient by increasing the shredding capacity, plus 2 sets of knives to separate paper waste and Optical Media waste like CDs and DVDs. All TS machines are fitted with a super potential power system which has steel gears and chains for superior resistance to wear in comparison to cheaper plastic options. The Touch Screen system with LED indicators show a host of operator friendly features including ENERGY SMART®; a power saving system to put the machine into stand-by mode after just 8 seconds and automatically disconnect from the mains power supply after being idle for 4 hours: film shredding; if transparent material needs to be shredded like microfilms, then simply hold your finger down on the "Forward" button and the machine will continuously shred for 30 seconds: Automatic Reverse Function; all KOBRA 270 Touch Screen shredders feature a reverse function to feed the paper back in the event of a paper jam.

All Kobra shredders now also feature a lifetime warranty on the metal drive chain and feature an internal readable diagnosis system which records operating hours, number of jams and machine use. Supplied with a 110 litre mobile cabinet with 2 integrated removable collection bins for separate shredding of paper from plastic waste. This unit can shred CDs into 22.5mm strips with an optional CD cutting unit (sold separately).
