Product Details
The new Ideal Shredcat 8240 models are attractively priced shredders perfect for providing low cost data security right at your desk. Both models feature a quiet and powerful motor with the 4mm strip cut version shreds about 13 sheets of A4 paper per pass whilst the 4x40mm version shreds about 8 sheets per pass, into the 18 litre waste bin which conveniently shows the filling level. The 8240 has convenient handles for lifting off the shredder unit from the bin, and an automatic stop for safety when the shredder is emptied.
These quiet elegant shredders boast a multifunction switch and LED indicators for Automatic Eco Mode which powers off to use zero energy consumption. The unit will automatically start as soon as you feed paper into the throat and stop when the shredding process is finished.
