The Garner PD-5E IRONCLAD is designed to destroy hard drives and solid-state media in an office environment. The PD-5E IRONCLAD features Garner's IRONCLAD Erasure Verification system with Image Capture, which provides complete documentation that data has been completely destroyed. The IRONCLAD system comes with an easy to use touch screen control head, stylus, image capture device, barcode scanner, and scanner stand.
The Garner PD-5E IRONCLAD Hard Drive Destroyer is incredibly easy to use; simply open the door, insert a hard drive, close the door, and push the button. The PD-5E IRONCLAD's high-strength stainless steel wedge bends, breaks, mangles, and crushes the media with 10+ tons of downward pressure, meeting NSA/CSS SDDM 9-12 requirements as well as DoD Emergency Destruction Guidelines. The PD-5E IRONCLAD features an Automated Crush Depth Function controlled by internal logic that both senses the height of the hard drive media in the chamber and calibrates the most effective crush depth without sensors in the crush bay. The Door Open Safety Sensor stops the PD-5E IRONCLAD immediately if the door is opened during the destruction cycle.
The IRONCLAD system captures and records images of the media before and after destruction. The barcode scanner scans the serial number of hard drives and the machine documents the operator ID, date, time, and destroyed media status. The IRONCLAD system then generates an erasure report with images to be used for audit purposes.
Built to the highest standards in the industry, the PD-5E IRONCLAD's stainless steel crushing wedge resists chips and dents. The PD-5E IRONCLAD has been real world tested to meet the demands of data centres as well as recyclers. The PD-5E IRONCLAD does not use hydraulics to crush so there is no need for an extra "Emergency Stop" switch or oil spill containment mat. The PD-5E IRONCLAD also has maintenance reminders utilising the 32-character LCD display.
Rather than taking media to the destroyer, bring the lightweight PD-5E IRONCLAD right to the media. The PD-5E IRONCLAD has a footprint no larger than most desktop computers (Dimensions: PD-5E: 377.7x190.8x473.5mm; Image capture device: 208x146x142mm; IRONCLAD control head: 168x244x64mm).
The PD-5E IRONCLAD also features a session counter, an overall cycle counter, a door open safety sensor, a shatter-proof transparent door, no hydraulics, and no adapters are required. It can operate from 5 degrees C (41 degrees F) to 40 degrees C (104 degrees F) and Relative Humidity: 10% to 40%.
