Introducing the IRSARA Multi-chamber-press C400 - Your Solution for Efficient Waste Management
This innovative multi-chamber press has been ingeniously designed for versatility and durability, with a zinc-plated structure to withstand damp or external environments. Unlike other Baling Press Chambers, the unit can be used in an outside environment, with reasonable protection (e.g. in a shaded area), and its modular design enables the addition of chambers as your waste management needs evolve, ensuring a scalable solution that grows with your business.
The IRSARA C200 base unit, which uses single-phase 230v power, holds the Press Mechanism, and the C400 has Press + 2 Chambers, the C600 has Press + 3 Chambers, and the C800 has Press + 4 Chambers. Please note that it is possible to install any number of Chambers as required to segregate all types of waste, plus a Waste Container to help compact smaller items or general garbage
All units are 'plug 'n' play' installation, and whilst requiring little maintenance, it is always recommended that a preventative maintenance contract is always taken out at the time of purchase to ensure that the machine's functions and safety features are kept in perfect condition.
The C400 specialises in compressing a variety of materials—ranging from cartons, foils, paper, tins, plastic and synthetic materials to residual waste—into compact, easy-to-handle bales (max. 40kg) so that individuals can lift them. This simplifies waste handling and significantly cuts down on labour costs associated with waste management. The process of segregation and pressing are combined in a single machine within a large press container, and the overall volume of waste is reduced by immediately segregating waste and collecting it in separate chambers. Please note that you should not compact fire hazards, inflammables, explosives, fuels, gas, glass items, etc. (see instructions). Manufacturer's warranty applies.
At the heart of the C400's operation is an efficient, noise-free hydraulic system capable of exerting a pressing force of 6.5 tons with no maintenance required. Thanks to its automatic start control, the pressing cycle is seamless, enhancing productivity. Additionally, a sturdy chromium-plated connecting rod minimises wear and tear, further reducing maintenance expenses.
The convenience of the C400 extends to its user-friendly features, such as the ease of moving the press between press chambers and the conical design of the pressing chamber for simple bale removal. Mechanical holding clasps, whether mobile or fixed, secure springy materials in place, ensuring maximum space utilisation within the chamber. An optional waste container designed for pressing items like cans (it can also be used for garbage) includes a mechanism for collecting residual liquids for controlled drainage. During the press backstroke, the swing panel opens by approximately 10 cm, facilitating the extraction of the bale.
