When it comes to securely erasing sensitive data, the TS-1XTE IRONCLAD NSA-Listed high-speed hard drive and tape degausser from Garner stands out. It delivers an evenly distributed 20,000 gauss (2 tesla) magnetic field, obliterating the data on the media within a mere 15 seconds, and will help you meet the most stringent government and industry standards requiring complete erasure of sensitive data prior to disposal.
This high-capacity degausser can process up to 1,295 1.8" drives, 865 2.5" drives, or 150 3.5" drives per hour, without needing any cool-down periods between cycles. It's designed for continuous duty and is conveniently powered by a standard wall outlet.
The TS-1XTE IRONCLAD has robust verification features. It includes an on-board diagnostics system that confirms the magnetic field strength for every erase cycle, and the LCD screen shows numerical value of the gauss field strength to verify erasure. The TS-1XTE IRONCLAD also features Garner's IRONCLAD Erasure Verification system with Image Capture, which provides complete documentation that data has been completely eliminated. The IRONCLAD system comes with an easy-to-use touchscreen control head, stylus, image capture device, barcode scanner, and scanner stand.
The IRONCLAD system captures and records images of the degaussed media. The barcode scanner scans the serial number of hard drives and the machine documents the operator ID, date, time, and erasure status of the degaussed hard drive. The IRONCLAD system then generates an erasure report with images to be used for audit purposes.
The TS-1XTE IRONCLAD has been independently tested and certified against global safety standards, making it suitable for use in data centres, hospitals, and offices worldwide, ensuring it meets the operational standards expected in sensitive environments.
