When it comes to securely erasing sensitive data, the TS-1XTE NSA-Listed high-speed hard drive and tape degausser from Garner stands out. It delivers an evenly distributed 20,000 gauss (2 tesla) magnetic field, obliterating the data on the media within a mere 15 seconds, and will help you meet the most stringent government and industry standards requiring complete erasure of sensitive data prior to disposal.
This high-capacity degausser can process up to 1,295 1.8" drives, 865 2.5" drives, or 150 3.5" drives per hour, without needing any cool-down periods between cycles. It's designed for continuous duty and is conveniently powered by a standard wall outlet.
The TS-1XTE has robust verification features. It includes an on-board diagnostics system that confirms the magnetic field strength for every erase cycle, and the LCD screen shows numerical value of the gauss field strength to verify erasure. Additionally, it comes with a voucher for the SCAN-1X software and scanner package, enabling the creation of detailed media destruction reports that document the date, time, user ID, serial number, and erasure verification of each degauss cycle.
For those requiring even more rigorous documentation, the optional IRONCLAD Integrated Auditing System can capture JPG images of the media post-degaussing, providing irrefutable evidence of destruction suitable for meeting comprehensive audit requirements.
